Each of our scented blend has its own wonderful botanical aroma, while Unscented has a natural, earthy aroma that is native to the combination of carefully rendered beef tallow and extra virgin olive oil. We render all our beef tallow ourselves, and we choose not to deodorize it because we don't want to strip away any of the beneficial compounds found in tallow that promote the healing of your skin.
Will tallow balm feel greasy?+
It can feel greasy if you use too much—and most first-time users do. Start with a tiny amount and massage it into your skin. It spreads very well once softened. There is no water in our formula, like the majority of lotions on the market today. Instead, tallow balm is a concentrated, pure moisturizer that only requires a small amount to work.
